    October 3- Family ID/Registration Opens
    November 6- Concussion Testing for Girls Basketball and Wrestling (2:45-4:00)
    November 7- 7th/8th Grade Girls Basketball Tryouts Begin
    November 18- 7th/8th Grade Wrestling Begins
    January 13- 7th/8th Grade Boys Basketball Begins
     
      
    Registration and Required Paperwork Details 

    Note:  Parents often do not complete the paperwork completely/properly.  Please carefully follow all directions below and see Common Mistakes section.  Students cannot participate until all parts of the registration process are completed and approved by the Athletic Director.

    First Sport of School Year:

    1.  Complete PIAA forms Section 5&6.  Section 5 is completed by Parent and signed and dated by BOTH the Parent AND Student.  Section 6 is completed by the Physician and dated on or after June 1, of the school year in which the student will participate.  The complete student physical is NOT needed, only PIAA forms Sections 5&6.

    2.  Register for the appropriate sport and upload PIAA forms Section 5&6 to Family ID.  You can scan the forms and upload.  As an alternative, you can take a picture of the forms with your phone and upload the images.  If you are having difficulty uploading forms please contact Family ID customer support number 1-781-205-2800.

    Common Mistakes:  Paperwork is missing signatures (3 signatures needed- 1 student, 1 parent, 1 physician).  Signatures not dated (All 3 signatures need dates).  Parents upload wrong forms or the same form twice.  Please do NOT upload any other forms other than Section 5&6 of the PIAA forms.  Do not give paperwork to coaches-  All paperwork goes into Family ID and is approved by the Athletic Director.

    Second or Third Sport of the School Year:  

    1.  Complete PIAA form Section 7 (Recertification).  Section 7 is completed by the Parent and signed and dated by BOTH Parent and Student.  

    2.  Register for the appropriate sport and upload the PIAA forms to Family ID.  You can scan the forms and upload.  As an alternative, you can take a picture fo the forms with your phone and upload the images.  If you are having difficulty uploading forms please contact Family ID customer support number 1-781-205-2800.

    Concussion Testing Information
     
    Any 7th or 8th grader trying out for basketball or wrestling that have not previously taken the IMPACT baseline concussion test MUST complete the test prior to trying out.  Concussion testing will be provided by Ms. Caldwell (Athletic Trainer).  All students must bring their district issued laptops for the concussion test.  Dates for concussion testing for girls basketball and wrestling will be on November4 from 2:45-4:00 in the cafeteria.
     
     
    7/8 Girls Basketball Information- Informational Meeting for kids on October 17th during Advisory period in the main gym.  Tryouts begin on November 7 from 2:30-4:15.  Concussion testing will take place on November 6 from 2:45-4:00 in the cafeteria with Ms. Caldwell (Athletic Trainer)
     
    Wrestling Information-  Due to low numbers the Lenape wrestlers will be combining teams with Tohickon Middle School this season.  We will provide one way transportation after school to Tohickon and parents will have to pick their child up from Tohickon at the conclusion of practices/matches.  Concussion testing will take place at Lenape on November 6 in the cafeteria from 2:45-4:00 with our school's trainer Ms. Caldwell.
     
    7/8 Boys Basketball Information- Tryouts begin January 13.  An informational meeting will take place in mid December during advisory.
